⚔️ Battle Lab

Battle Simulator

Choose two pencils, roll them against each other and see who wins. Every roll picks a barrel face at random and reads the number that matches your opponent's symbol, exactly as the printed rules describe. Run a single battle for the drama, or a thousand for the statistics.

How it works

  • A roll chooses one of the six faces on the barrel, each equally likely.
  • You read the number on your rolled face that matches your opponent's symbol — not your own.
  • The higher number wins and knocks the losing pencil out.
  • A tie knocks nobody out, and both pencils stay active for the next battle.
  • Bulk runs use the same rules thousands of times over to show the long-run win rate.

Questions

Are these real Battle Pencils statistics?

Only where a pencil is marked official and has published barrel numbers. Pencils labelled "Lab Roster" are unofficial fan concepts included so the tools can be tried before the official numbers are released, and they are labelled as such wherever they appear.

Why does the same pencil perform differently in different matchups?

Because you read the number matching your opponent's symbol. A pencil with high circle numbers does well against circle pencils and may do badly against squares, so there is no single strength value.

What happens on a tie?

Nobody is knocked out. Both pencils stay active and must roll again in the next battle, which is what the printed rules specify.

How accurate is the win percentage?

The matchup calculator works out the exact figure by checking every possible pairing of faces rather than sampling, so it carries no simulation error. Bulk simulation here converges on that same number.
